           As of July 1, 2006, the Honolulu Police Department, special duty section will be assessing a
        rate increase for special duty officers.
     
           The new rates will be as follows:
         Wage Rates: (per hour)
         *Two Hour Minimum
               Police Officer                                 $ 30.00
               Solo Motorcycle Officer                  $ 33.00
               Police Sergeant                               $ 34.00
               Solo Motorcycle Sgt.                       $ 37.00
               Police Lieutenant                             $ 36.00
               Police Captain                                 $ 38.00
               Police Major                                   $ 41.00
 
 

        Payable Directly to the Officer.
       

        Equipment Charges:

               Subsidized Vehicle**                       $ 10.00
               Solo Motorcycle*                            $ 10.00
               Bicycle* (Plus travel time surcharge) $ 10.00
               Mounted Unit (Horse)*                    $ 25.00
               (Plus 3 Hour Surcharge Per Officer Requested)
            *Payable Directly to the City & County of Honolulu

            **Payable Directly to the Officer

 

            Administrative fees:     $7 for the first officer, $1 for each additional officer per job.
            Worker's Comp fees:   $5 per officer.
            Payment for Administrative and Worker's comprehensive fees shall be made out to the City and County of Honolulu.
            The 2 Hour minimum will also remain the same.
