As defined in the dictionary, chemistry is a science that deals with the composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the transformations that they undergo. Chemistry is in the world all around us, but you may not know how many everyday activities or even games are based on chemistry. For instance, did you know that making and blowing bubbles or mixing the colors you use to paint with are examples of Chemical activity? Even baking something in the oven is performing a chemical act. These types of activities prove that everyone uses chemistry and can even have fun doing it. Let this pathfinder be your guide in discovering the wonders of chemistry with activities and wonderful experiments that can expand your knowledge and maybe even inspire the Chemist inside of you.
