Insects
The Little Things That Run Our World

What are these little things that seem to be running our world (or all around our world, for that matter)? They are called INSECTS. Insects are distinguished by counting their legs. Insects only have six legs and although similar creatures might be defined as insects at first glance, if they have more or less than six legs, they might be defined as only a cousin to the insect. Anyway, there are far too many insects to include others in their species. Can you believe that insects outnumber humans by 200 to 1? Also, insects make-up 80% of life in earth. But don't take my word for it, this pathfinder will help you find some of the best facts, lessons and activities that the library has available on insects.
