Puppets
Make your classroom really come alive!!
Puppets are wonderful toys. They can teach both kids and adults all kinds of things. Why? Because folks tend to listen to puppets.Puppets are gentle, non-threatening friends that can do goofy things. They can be hilariously funny or poignantly sad. They can show a child how to brush his or her teeth just as well as they can teach about how to do square roots. Plus, everyone loves a puppet show! Brings story characters to life with the use of classroom-made and ready-made puppets. Have the characters speak for themselves and teach students how to express themselves in a new way! This pathfinder's purpose is to help teachers find ways to make puppets as well as integrate the use of them into their teaching curriculum. These ideas really will make your classrom COME ALIVE!
