A Focus On

Weather

Introduction:
In 1998, CNN reported that the phenomenal weather pattern, El Nino, destroyed more than 10,000 homes in California. At least eight people were killed. El Nino’s storms have caused several floods and mudslides, leaving thousands of Californians devastated and homeless, and many families mourning the loss of their loved ones (Internet). The better we understand the weather the more it will work for us instead of against us. This pathfinder will help you assemble effective lesson plans pertaining to weather and how to prevent personal injury during bad weather.
