Worked in the civil service for 35 years; also a veteran of World War II who served in the 100th Infantry Battalion. Maria O. Zamora, 79, of Kahului, a field worker on a tomato plantation, died last   Thursday May 13, 1999 in Maui Memorial Hospital.
