THOMAS TOKIO IGE Age 87, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away April 4, 2004 at Kuakini Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1917 in Waipio, Oahu. Retired with 39 years of service with HRT and MTL as a trolley and bus operator, Mr. Ige was the first Japanese street car conductor. He was a member of the Kin Cho Jin Kai and was their "Man of the Year" in 1978.
