KATHLEEN "KAY" WALKER MOLONY
LANDRUM 85, of Honolulu, Hawai`i, died on Friday, June 3, 2005, in Honolulu. She was born January 17, 1920, in Nogales, Arizona, to George Hely Molony and Kathleen Walker Molony,
and was the granddaughter of John and Sophie Klussman Walker of Honolulu. She is survived by her daughters Kathleen Walker
Landrum Colbourn, of San
Rafael, California, and Anne Landrum of Honolulu, and her son James Edward Landrum III, of Fargo,
North Dakota, her son-in-law Jack Colbourn, granddaughter Kaitlin
Colbourn, many relatives in Hawai`i and elsewhere in the United States and Europe, and a world-wide circle of friends. She was
predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Major General
James Edward Landrum, Jr. Kay was active in preservation of Hawaiian heritage
and was an ardent patron of education, the arts, and beautification programs in
Hawai`i. She was a member of Daughters of Hawai`i, Friends of
the Library, Honolulu Academy of Arts Guild, the Parish of St. Clements, and
the US Army Officers' Wives Club. She was also a past vice-president of The
Outdoor Circle, a past president of The English Speaking Union, and was a
founding member of Nadesko Kai, a Japanese and American women's liaison
