ARCADIO LOPEZ MACANAS Age 59, of Kahuku, passed away January 3, 2005 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1945 in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines, and was a truck driver for the State of Hawaii Dept. of Transportation's Highway Division for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcelo Macanas and brothers Louis and Eddie-Boy Macanas. Douglas Machado of Kapa‘a died at his residence on March 31, 2005, at the age of 73. A truck driver with Lihue Plantation, he was born January 23, 1932, on Kaua‘i. He is survived by four children: Raynard (Esther) Machado; Matt (Myra) Machado; Phillip (Danette) Benedito; and Lynn (Ricky) Haas; two brothers: Abraham (Helen) Machado and Bernard (Shirley) Machado; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
