Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii’s Melissa Lehano was named to the Pacific West Conference All-Conference Second Team today. Lehano was the only Seasider to be honored for the conference this season after BYU–Hawaii finished the season with a 9-34 overall mark and a 6-18 conference record. Lehano,
a junior third-baseman from Mililani, Hawaii, led the Seasiders in several
offensive categories this year, including batting average (.324), hits
(45), runs (25), total bases (57), doubles (7), and stolen bases (14). She
finished second on the team in on-base percentage (.375), third in slugging
percentage (.410), runs batted in (16) and triples (1), and fourth in home
runs (1).
