Seasiders Fall to Redhawks

Richelle Fenenbock (shown in earlier action) hit three three-pointers for the second game in a row

Seattle, WA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s basketball team struggled through a disastrous first half and lost their second game of the season this afternoon, falling 82-29 to Seattle University in a non-conference game. The Seasiders, now 0-2 for the season, trailed 52-7 at halftime and, although they shot better in the second half, never got close in the game.

Freshman guard Richelle Fenenbock hit three second-half three-pointers to lead the Seasiders with nine points. Sophomore Amanda Watts tallied eight points for BYU–Hawaii and Agnes Tuilevuka, who just joined the team this week after volleyball season, contributed six points.

BYU–Hawaii will face St. Martin’s in Lacey, Washington on Monday at 7:00 pm PST to conclude the three-game road trip.
