| December 29, 2007Seasiders Lose Another Close One
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s basketball team lost another hard fought game tonight, falling to Nebraska-Omaha 66-56 in their last non-conference game of the season. The Seasiders, now 0-9 for the season, fell behind by nine at the half and played catch-up the rest of the way before falling short. Agnes Tuilevuka scored 23 points to lead the way for the Seasiders. Richelle Fenenbock hit four three-pointers and totaled 18 points while Amanda Watts led the team with five rebounds and four assists. Latoya Wright led Nebraska-Omaha, now 12-1 for the season, with 18 points and Mary Brown chipped in ten in the win. BYU–Hawaii will open conference play on the road against Notre Dame de Namur on January 2nd in Belmont, California. Game time is at 5:30 pm PST. |
