Two Seasiders Honored

Richelle Fenenbock finished as the top scorer for the Seasiders in her freshman year

Laie, HI—Two Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s basketball players received post-season honors from the Pacific West Conference this week as Agnes Tuilevuka and Richelle Fenenbock were each selected for the All-Conference Second Team. The Seasiders finished in sixth place in the conference this year with a 5-13 conference mark.

Tuilevuka, a sophomore from Suva, Fiji, went right from the volleyball court to the basketball court this season and led the Seasiders in rebounding with 5.9 per game, blocked shots with 20, and field goal percentage at .430 and tied with Fenenbock for the team lead in steals with 58. She was the team’s third leading scorer at 11.1 points per game.

Fenenbock, a freshman from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, led BYU–Hawaii in scoring with 13.6 points per game. She also led the Seasiders in three-pointers with 65, three-point percentage at .332, and tied Tuilevuka for the steals lead with 58. Fenenbock finished second on the team in assists with 55, second in free throw percentage at .762, and pulled down 2.7 rebounds per game.
