Boise, ID—The Brigham Young University Hawaii's women's cross country team took 17th place today at the NCAA II West Regional, finishing with 409 points to bring the season to a close. Individually, BYU–Hawaii’s Amanda Whitford placed highest for the Seasiders, taking 30th place. Whitford ran a 21:54 6K for BYU–Hawaii. Diana Voorhees came in at 22:43 for 59th place and Hilarie Glenn took 81st place with a time of 23:02. Allyson Robison took 114th place in 23:53 and Michelle Fong finished 125th in 24:18. Veronica Mendoza completed the race in 25:48 in 142nd place for BYU–Hawaii. Seattle Pacific won the team title with 45 points and Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pacific won the individual title in 19:53. |
