Charles W.H. Goo, aka Charlie, has deep roots in this university, and has maintained a tradition of integrity and hard work.  Having served as Director of Admissions, Registrar, and International Student Services here at BYU-Hawaii, Charles is no stranger on campus.  His years of experience and depth of commitment make him a valuable resource for students and staff alike.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from BYU-Provo, a Master of Arts in Management from Central Michigan University, and a Doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from BYU-Provo.

In addition to his years of service at BYU-Hawaii, Charlie has also been an active member in the community.  Together with his wife, Helen, and their five children, he has contributed to the quality of education and extracurricular programs at Kahuku High School.  He served as the Hong Kong Mission President from 1985-1988, and Bishop and Stake President several times in different assignments.  While his discipline seems to come from his Chinese ethnicity, his experience in the military certainly refined that quality.

In spite of the many years of work experience and education, Charlie never fails to acknowledge the hand of the Lord in his life.  After retirement, he plans to serve as many missions as possible with his wife, Helen.  Together, they are happy grandparents of 8.
